Advanceo is looking for finance professionals who miss being in the room where things actually get built.

Not advising from the sideline. Building. Walking into a business with messy books, no forecasting, processes that haven't kept up with the growth, and an owner running everything alone. Our goal is to work with them and to build what's missing.

At Advanceo, we embed senior financial and strategic leadership into growing companies ($2M–$100M). We support monthly financial reporting, quarterback M&A transactions, lead exit preparation, support capital raises, and run a US-based venture fund. Our clients are often owner-led businesses navigating growth, acquisitions, succession, and exits across Canada and the US.

We're growing and looking to connect with experienced finance professionals for client engagements:

→ Senior Finance Directors and VP Finance

→ Controllers ready for broader leadership

→ Independent fractional CFOs

→ Former CFOs pursuing portfolio or semi-retired careers

The work varies. Some engagements are ongoing embedded mandates. Some are project-based; exit preparation, acquisition support, finance transformation. Some start narrow and expand as the relationship deepens.

The right person is as comfortable reconciling intercompany balances on Tuesday as they are presenting a capital allocation recommendation to the owner on Wednesday. If you think controller or hands-on work is beneath you, this isn't the right fit. If you see it as the foundation for strategic work, we should talk.

• Bilingual (EN/FR) is preferred, and necessary for Quebec engagements.

• CPA preferred.

• Multi-client or consulting experience is a strong advantage; you already know how to learn a new business fast and switch context daily.
